Our Estate Planning Process

1 – Consultation With Attorney

You will set up an appointment and meet one on one with a Preston Law Group attorney. We will review and discuss:

  • Your current current estate plan, if any
  • Your current and future assets
  • Your goals and wishes for your estate plan

From there, you will work closely with your attorney to plan a customized estate plan.

2 – Drafting Of Estate Plan

Sit back and relax! Your attorney will use all the information provided in the initial consultation and draft a customized estate plan for you. You may receive questions from your attorney as she works to perfect your estate plan.

3 – Review Of Estate Plan

Once the estate plan is drafted, your attorney will contact you to set up an appointment for a review (either in person or video conference).

This is your time to ask any and all questions you have about your estate plan. No question is too simple. We want to fully ensure that you understand exactly how your estate plan functions and how it benefits your family.

Upon review, if changes need to be made, your attorney will make the appropriate changes and set a new appointment to review the updated plan.

4 – Execution Of Estate Plan

Your attorney will contact you to schedule an appointment to execute your estate plan. This involves signing your trust, will, and any other documents your attorney has prepared for your estate plan. This can occur in our office in Corona, or we can travel to your home for the execution of the estate plan upon request. If neither of those options are available, your attorney will work with you in alternative methods of executing the estate plan. A notary public is frequently used when executing estate plans.

  • Peace Of Mind: You can rest easy knowing that your estate planning is taken care of.
  • Customized Estate Plans: One size does NOT fit all. Your attorney will work to provide you with a customized estate plan just for you.
  • Customer Service: Our stress free process aims to give every client the white glove treatment. No estate is too big or small for us!
